i recently got the chance to go to a huge southern family reunion.
if anyone knows my family, they know it’s huge.
with that said, i’m not surprised to say that i only knew about 10 of the 130+ people there.
it’s sad to think that if someone had not arranged the reunion, i probably would have never met so many of my cousins. i probably would have become an island from that whole side of my family. forgotten.
the bigger the family, the better
This past week, I was able to visit my hometown and hang out with a bunch of people I haven’t been able to see in months.
It’s weird going back to a place you used to live. Although everything is still familiar, I felt like a foreigner. New stores, new people, new hangouts.
the last two photos are of one of the barber shops downton. i always forget to go inside during the daytime, or even look through the windows… but it’s such a lovely place.
hello there!
i’ve recently decided to join the wordpress community as a way of organizing my life.
this entire wordpress is inspired by brian ferry. he’s a lovely man, living the kind of life i’d like to live.
